•Title Page – The title should be short and to the point. If the title is more than one line, double-space between the lines. The page header and page number appear at the top right of the title page. The title of the paper is centered on the page. The student’s name appears one double-space below the title. The institutional affiliation appears one double-space below the student’s name. Then the course number and title one double space below that. The running head should be in the upper right hand corner and address, city, state, email, and instructor’s name should be located in the lower left hand corner of the title page.

•Applications OR Point 2 – Provides the reader with an in-depth understanding of the topics and how the topic is applied in practical settings.

The rationale and supporting data for each assumption must be provided. The presentation should provide the reader with sufficient information to understand and support the assumptions.
•Conclusions – Summarizes your findings, and makes recommendations on the impact of the juvenile justice system on its services, quality, and delivery to our communities.
•References – Lists all of the references cited within the body of the text. You should have a minimum of 5 references.
•Appendices – This section is not required and is at your discretion. If included, appendices should be relevant and provide supporting information related to the topic.

Note on Plagiarism: All research papers will be reviewed by a plagiarism detection service. Make sure you pay careful attention to summarizing, paraphrasing, and correctly citing your sources in-text and in the reference list. The academic standard, excluding bibliography and direct quoted material (which should be used very sparingly), is 25 percent. If you score higher than that in your plagiarism report you will have a chance to correct this issue in the final submission. If it is still higher that the norm on the final submission you will fail the research paper. Additionally, you cannot, and I stress cannot, use another paper you have completed for another class for this class.
